Do I need to get a new Student I.D. to ride the bus for unlimited rides?
Yes, your new Student I.D.will have a magnetic strip that allows you to swipe and ride. Student ID’s issued before August 2017.
 
What if my Student I.D. stops working?
Bring it back to Admissions at KCKCC to have a new card issued.
 
What if I lose my Student I.D.?
Notify the KCKCC Admission office. You will need to pay a $5.00 fee the first time you replace a lost card.
 
Why is there a $2.75 fee on my bill?
This service is being provided for all students for the 2017-18 school year. The fee is for one
semester of unlimited bus rides anywhere RideKC bus service is provided.
 
How do I know which bus to take?
There are bus route maps located on main campus in Admissions and at the TEC in the bookstore. All route information is also available at RideKC.org.
 
How do I ride the bus like a pro?
RideKC.org has an online tutorial that shows you all the ins and outs of riding the bus at:

Can I still buy a bus pass at KCKCC?
The bookstores at Main Campus and TEC will continue to sell the 31-Day bus passes.
 
If I live in Leavenworth, can I ride the bus using the UPASS?
Every KCKCC student, regardless of campus location, can use their Student I.D. to ride the bus. The closest connector to the Pioneer campus is the KCATA hub at the Walmart at Legends, from there you can take the bus anywhere in the Kansas City region.
 
Can I ride KC Streetcar?
Yes, the downtown streetcar is free for everyone.
